Medicine and morality

Assigning a moral value to public health policy is a particular insidious development of the last 2 years.  It is now common place and must be countered.

  1. it is ridiculously unscientific and rooted in a one size fits all, central planning world view
  2. it creates a disincentive to actually comply with reporting and metrics and more practically, preventative care and full disclosure to the medical “powers that be”
  3. it directly contravenes the sacrosanct relationship between a doctor and patient, subjecting patients to discrimination and public ridicule by mob/cancel mentality.
  4. It diminishes public trust in medical institutions at every level, but particularly at the federal and global level.
  5. it allows “government” and authority to use medical decisions to ENFORCE lifestyle as a precedent.  Compliance as a social credit.
In reality, this is the beginning of the end of freedom?  Is this how democracy dies?
