Most of us are feeling disconnected lately. We must choose to connect and give control over to God to move ahead. As we connect with God we can do anything and connect with those around us. Family. Friends. Neighbors. And total strangers. Even enemies. - apart from God we remain isolated, useless, foolish and sad... reveling in fear and empty things. Worship is a starting point. It is a sustaining process. It is the destination as well and salvation is assured. Don’t miss out by embracing isolation and fear. Choose to connect and live. Ask Jesus into your heart and live with him. It is scary, but it is Awesomeness.
Lord Northam ... week ago. Would not consider a regionalized strategy assisting western and southern VA... he said that politics would divide his beloved commonwealth and it was not safe.
-->> Today(now) - Will allow NOVA to be considered separately from the rest of the state. Here is hoping ALL of my NOVA friends come to SWVA to visit, shop, and seek entertainment. True southerners welcome you. Bless your hearts. When we in SWVA speak, he disregards utterly. When NOVA speaks(Dems) — he steps up and salutes, changing direction. His floor is only hard if you disagree. This flip flop behavior is so typical of Dems and it IS DEPLORABLE. Politics of regions only matter to those in charge... Dems must be ejected for western and southern va to ever have a chance at prospering. Lord Northam is concerned about his control over regions, not the citizen’ safety or “unity” - A crisis of leadership is repaired when the people unify under a singular purpose... and begin working towards a Goal (normally outlined and clarified by a leader) - the solution lies in the working... not in the vilification or discussion of what has always been done, how it has always been done, etc.. Making more problems doesn't solve the pressing problem.
Central question for church leaders remains. What are you teaching in your example and in your words. They must match. Your congregation sees and knows and yearns for a direction and progress. If they only feel vilified, guilty, and attacked... nothing changes. Jesus teaches and models love and redemption, and grace... via action, and choice... He models an active love, not retired, not tired, not passive, not by proxy, or by checkbook. Each one of us is specific, beloved, and required.. If and when we are divided, we can unify by working together on one thing, building relationships, then working together on another thing, building more relationships, etc... This cycle is the only one that works.. if you are thinking this : “he is so fat... big... huge...crazy...” you are part of the problem, not the solution. #MorbidObesity just one of many disorders that affect us. Mental health issues come to mind immediately as well. The urge to feel superior and think that the other guy is doing it to himself is not correct. It is morally reprehensible.
The person that you judge does not want to be less successful, less capable, disabled. They may indeed have issues with decisions, education, AND genetics, culture, friends, and environment. In fact, they do, and we all do. Solving #morbidobesity is a huge challenge. It must be accomplished by individuals but they need help not judgement. Help us by accepting us as we are. Love us and encourage us but remember that we aren’t “better” because we look better. We are better because we are in control, we have more choices, and we are less disabled in a harsh, cruel, judging society. Recognize that the words you use come from the thoughts you harbor. You are not healthy because he is fat. Together you can both be better. |
